ABOUT

Hello,

I’m Deborah, the hands behind Taylor’s Yarn Creations.

At the age of six my mom inspired and spark my interest in crochet. I didn’t have my own crochet hook so I used what I had, my hands.

Later in high school my mother bought me my first crochet book. The book included a hook and yarn. I taught myself to read patterns and how to construct various stitches. I instantly became “hooked.”

In 2018, I became certified in crochet as a Level 1, Instructor, and Level 2, Teacher through the Craft Yarn Council (CYC).

And while it is not required to get certified, I am happy I did. I learned so much and gained new insight and techniques in crochet.

Crochet is therapeutic, and it has the power to bring joy into the lives of others.
